Two Weeks Old!!

It's been a busy week. Eric went back to work, so Graham and I were by ourselves for most of the week. Overall we had a very good week. On Wednesday we had Grahams two-week check-up. He weighed in at 6lbs 7oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. Since he wasn't quite back to his birth weight they wanted to see him again on Saturday. Everything else checked out fine. When we went back on Saturday for another weight check, he was up to 6lbs 12oz, so the doctor's were very pleased with that. However, late Friday night Graham came down with a clogged tear duct. Thankfully we had the doctor's appointment already scheduled, and they were able to give us an antibiotic for his eye. As you can see from the picture his right eye is a little bit crusty & closed. Hopefully this will clear up quickly, although Graham seems to be very content.

We also had infant pictures taken on Wednesday. We had a gift card to www.bennettphotographs.com. The photo shoot went well, Graham slept through most of it which is exactly what we were hoping for. We can't wait to get the proofs back, cuz he's going to look adorable.

Cuddling with mommy.

Grandma & Grandpa Lowery came to visit again...here's a picture of Grandpa holding me! I got spoiled while they were here!

Daddy Going Back to Work

Saying goodbye to Daddy on Monday morning as he headed off to work...both Graham & Mommy missed him that day!

Hanging out with Daddy once he returned home. Mom & Dad think my cheeks are starting to fill out....we'll find out tomorrow how much weight I've gained at my two week check-up!

Another one with chubby cheeks!

Mommy trying to get me to smile...I wanted nothing to do with it. I was tired!

Playing in my new activity floor mat. I really liked the mirror!

First Full Weekend Home

Here Graham is wearing his Halloween Pumpkin Onesie

Yes, Sammy was feeling a little left out. He wanted to cuddle with his Daddy too during the OSU game.

Wearing my new outfit from Laura...looking awfully cute!

Even More Pictures.. :)

Graham posing on the couch

Graham doesn't like to have his arms swaddled...they always end up out of the blankets like this:

Sporting my "My Mommy Love's Me" onsie...Thanks Renee & Jill for all my boyish outfits!

They said it's not too early for tummy time...Graham actually likes sleeping like this much more than on his back.

The First Week

Chilling on the couch with the cat, Sam. Sam didn't stick around for long...just enough time to take this picture! ;) He's coming around more often though and is starting to think that maybe his brother Graham is alright!

Sleeping in the pack-n-play newborn 'napper'. Graham sleeps best here...

First bath...Graham did really well. Only a little crying...and well, he did get his Mommy & Daddy a little messy since we weren't careful enough to keep him covered! :)

Laying on the floor...

Coming Home

We had to stay at the hospital for an extra day due to Graham's jaundice levels. We were released, but had to take a Bili-Blanket home with us for him to continue to use. He was on the blanket from Saturday, Oct 17th through Tuesday, Oct 20th. Mom and Dad were very thankful when we were able to return the blanket and actually hold our baby without cords attached!!

Relaxing on the couch

Graham in his swing with the Bili-blanket on...hence the glowing light on his back!

Being held by mom in the hospital right before we left to come home

Graham Lloyd Armstrong

Graham was born on October 14, 2009 at 4:15 pm. He weighed 6 lbs 9 oz and was 20 1/4 inches long. He had lots of dark brown hair. Labor was short, only an hour and forty-five minutes long, so when he was ready, he was READY! :) Here are the first few pictures.

Welcome

Welcome to the Armstrong Family Blog. We decided to start this blog for our out of town family and friends, so that they could keep up to date with the growth of our new baby boy, Graham. We will try to upload pictures regularly so you can see his development and keep you posted on any major updates to his growth, such as first smiles, rolling over, etc. We hope you enjoy being able to keep updated through this blog!
