Family Visits

Over Thanksgiving weekend, we took our first trip with Graham. We went to Indianapolis to stay at his cousins home and to also meet his Grandpa who was in town from Arizona. Graham did very good on the drive and all the time we were there. He enjoyed meeting his family and shared smiles with them. He also showed off to the girls his new trick....rolling over!! He learned to roll over this week, from his tummy to his back. The first time he did it, it took me by surprise since I was definitely not expecting that! However, I put him back on his tummy and sure enough within a few seconds he rolled over again. Now he seems to be able to do it without too much trouble...but he does need to be in the mood for it! Sometimes he'll just lay there as content as can be!

Here's a picture of Eric, myself, Graham and Grandpa Armstrong.

Exploring the World

Graham has had pretty good head control for quite awhile now. The nurse practitioner at our Pediatricians office actually commented on it before he was even a week old. Here are a couple of pictures of him holding his head up. He'll sit like this for quite awhile, picking up his head and looking around just exploring his surroundings.

My sweet baby boy sleeping...what a precious face!

Both of my boys dozing off...

Here's a bit of a smile. Graham hit the elephant with his hand, and it startled him a bit..making him smile. I'm surprised I was able to get it on camera.

Busy Week

This week was a busy week. Graham's Aunt Kathleen, Uncle Greg & cousin Porter came to meet him for the first time, Grandma & Grandpa Lowery came for a couple of days and he had his one month check-up. Graham's appointment went well, he weighs in at 7 lbs 12 oz (50th percentile) and is 21 inches long (90th percentile). The doctor was pleased with his growth and seems to think we're doing everything right...let's hope so! :) This week Graham now officially has a stay-at-home Mommy, as I gave my notice at my office. It was a bit bittersweet, as I will definitely miss the people that I worked with. However, I am very excited that I am going to be able to stay at home to raise my little boy. Hopefully he'll thank us for that someday!

Here's a few pictures...this one shows a partial smile. Graham is smiling more and more with each passing day!

Hanging out with my cousin Porter. Porter is a lot bigger than Graham. He started out life 3 pounds heavier....and is now 6 months old. So, Graham has some catching up to do!

In the car seat ready to go to the Doctor's office. Notice the cow print car seat cover...a gift from his Aunt, Uncle & Cousins!

Head Control

Here Graham is doing some tummy time. He likes to hold his head up and he's pretty good at it. We have to be a little careful, cuz he doesn't have total control and we don't want him to whack his head on the floor!!

So peaceful...

Sleeping next to Sam. They're getting more comfortable with each other...or I should probably say Sam is getting more comfortable with Graham!

One of his favorite ways to sleep when flat on his back.

Smiles

Graham is starting to smile a lot more often, although those smiles are hard to catch on camera. Here's one picture that kinda shows him smiling!

Here Graham is laying in his crib. He's been sleeping in a pack-n-play in our room thus far, however I'm starting to put him down for naps in his crib. This particular day was a rough day. Graham didn't want to sleep at all...after being up most the night as well. So, he never actually fell asleep in the crib...but, the picture at least shows how little he is in his crib!

In Mom's hands. I wanted to capture a picture of how small he is before he really starts gaining weight. We're starting to see a lot of changes in him, and I'm sure that's going to continue each and every day!

Graham loves his singing teddy bear. It's nose also flashes light...he'll just stare at it and move his arms and legs while listening to the songs!
