Baby Legs
Showing off all my cow print items...the baby blanket and baby legs from Aunt Kathleen & Uncle Greg! Daddy thinks he looks silly in the baby legs, but Mommy thinks he's cute! ;)

Growing Oh So Big!!!
All Smiles
Christmas
Over Christmas we went to stay with Willa's parents. We had a very nice trip and Graham did so well on the drive there and back! We had a good time visiting with family and enjoyed Christmas with our little bundle of joy. However, due to a bad diaper rash, Graham didn't enjoy the day as much as we did. Thankfully, we have a sister-in-law, Kathleen, who is both a mom and a pharmacist who could assist in helping our little guy feel better. The diaper rash is much improved and Graham is back to his happy self.
Here's Graham in his Christmas sleeper, from Uncle Greg & Aunt Kathleen:

Here's Cousin Porter in his matching outfit. Porter is such a happy baby...always smiling. He enjoyed playing with the wrapping paper with his sister.

Our Family
The Many Faces of Graham
Graham is having more and more expressions. He's responding to voices & will smile frequently. He has found his tongue recently and likes to play with that...so a lot of the time he's sticking it out. He lights up when I get him up from his naps and when Daddy comes home from work. Here's a few recent pictures.

Two Month Check-up
Graham had his two month check-up this morning. It's hard to believe he's already nine weeks today!! Time sure has flown by. He's doing great and the appointment went very well. He weighs in at 11 lbs 2 oz and he is 23.25 inches long, both of which are in the 90th percentile on the preemie growth chart. The doctor was definitely impressed with his growth especially since he started out a little on the slow side. Graham also received several shots today. He handled them better than his mom did! :) We don't have to return for another check-up until he is four months.
God has definitely watched over our little guy. We've come a long way from that Doctor's appointment in July where we weren't sure he'd even make it. Now he's a thriving two month old! We continue to praise God for all the blessings he's given us and how he kept Graham safe throughout the whole process!

Poem
Here's a poem that was shared with me by my Aunt Linda. It's a great reminder of priority while raising a little one.
Cleaning and Scrubbing can wait till tomorrow.
For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow.
So dust settle down, cob webs go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep!
I love this little poem. It helps me to remember every day as I choose to hold, play with or cuddle Graham. It's ok that the house isn't spotless and that there's work that could be done. This time with Graham is precious and will be gone before I know it!

Busy Weekend
This was a big weekend for Graham. He went on his first couple 'real' outings. He accompanied me to Kohl's to exchange an outfit and then did some Christmas shopping as well. He then went to church for the first time this Sunday morning. He did very well with everything. He stayed in his car seat for all the outings, and there was very minimal fussiness! It'd definitely helped to make his mom think that getting out of the house isn't going to be quite as difficult as I had been imagining!
Here's a picture of one of Graham's new faces. He loves to play with his tongue now. Also notice his spiked hair. His parents were having fun with him! :)

We also got our professional pictures back this week. We were able to pick up some frames and get them displayed in our home. We were VERY pleased with how they turned out.

Rolling Over
I'm learning lots of new things today...how to take video clips on our camera and then how to upload them to the blog! So far so good! This will be fun to start adding little videos as Graham begins to do new things! Don't mind the extra seconds at the end of this where I'm video taping the floor. I wasn't sure how to stop it! :)

Our Little Monkey
Here's our little monkey, he was wearing his new sleeper from my Aunt Tina & cousin Sarah...and looked awfully cute in it! I started taking pictures with Graham in this position on his tummy. I was only able to get this one picture before he rolled over!

Here's the second picture I took...

Delayed Baby Shower
This weekend we traveled to Northwest Ohio to where Willa's family lives. They had planned a baby shower prior to Graham's birth, however due to Willa being on bed rest we were not able to make the trip at that time. They decided to throw a baby shower for her & Graham this weekend. There was a great turnout of family and friends. We went home with TONS of diapers which will come in very handy as we seem to go through those very quickly!! :)
Here's a picture of the diaper cake that Kathleen, my sister-in-law made...it was super cute! She did a great job on it!

Here's me opening presents. Graham got an Ohio State sweatshirt...which he'll love to wear! GO BUCKS!!

Here's me & my best friend (for 23 years!!!) Laura.

Here's my parents and their grandkids....in just two years they went from no grandchildren to three!

Graham got to meet his only living Great Grandparent....his Great Grandma Lowery. She loved holding him...and he liked it to as he slept for her!

Graham's crazy cousin Suzanne!! :) She's a wild girl...she was very helpful with Graham, bringing him balloons to play with, blankets to cover him (and his face) and toys. I think she was just happy that this baby wasn't coming home with her!

Graham...getting spoiled. He's changing so much with each passing day. He 'talks' a lot more, grabs my hair or necklace, smiles all the time and is so much fun to be around!

Here's a picture of Graham's cousin Porter. Porter is such a sweet and happy baby. He's a big boy, and I think the two of them are going to be 'on the go' next year around this time. Watch out mom and dad...as they terrorize your house!
