Don't be fooled by how innocent the cat looks in this picture. He's not!

Admiring the Tree
Graham wasn't so sure what to think about the Christmas tree in the living room this year. He loved the bright lights and all the ornaments. He did really good with it at first. He would walk around and point, sometimes touching something, but usually just looking. However that all changed when the bad influence, Sam...the cat, decided to start batting at ornaments. Graham saw how much fun the cat was having that he wanted to join in on the fun. Thankfully though Graham didn't decide to climb the tree after Sam did!! :) The tree made it through the holiday in one piece. Next year with two babies and a cat, it might not be so fortunate!

Thanksgiving Weekend
The weekend after Thanksgiving we traveled to Indianapolis to visit Eric's cousins. Eric's dad was also visiting from Arizona. We had a really nice time hanging out and catching up. Graham enjoyed playing with his cousin Kathleen. He loved always having attention and someone to show off to. Their dog, Pepper, was also a big hit! Here are just a couple of pictures from the weekend. For some reason, it seemed like noone wanted their picture taken, so we're missing several people from the photos we took!

Babysitting
Last Monday my friend Katie called and asked if I would mind watching her 4 month old little boy, John Douglas, for a short time. We didn't have any plans, so it was no problem. Graham wasn't so sure what to think of a baby being in his house and taking some of his Mommy's attention! John Douglas enjoyed the activity floor mat, and Graham sat nearby and watched. It was good practice for it won't be long until Graham needs to be used to having a baby around all the time! :)

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!
Last Saturday we had one of our first snowfalls of the year. It was coming down pretty good and we had probably about two inches on the ground. We decided to get Graham all decked out in his snow gear and take him out to experience the snow. He wore his snow pants, coat (both great garage sale finds!!), mittens & hat. He looked like a giant marshmallow! :) As you can see from the pictures and videos, Graham liked the snow. He thought it tasted great!!

First Haircut!
Last weekend, Graham has his first haircut! We had debated when to get his haircut for quite awhile since it was getting quite long. We decided that it was past time! For his first haircut we decided to take him to a place called Cookie Cutters designed specifically for children's haircuts. In the future, I will probably be cutting his hair the majority of the time. However, this was nice for his first haircutting experience. He got to sit in a fun little car shaped chair. We gave him his milk to help keep him calm as well. Graham did great! He wanted to look around at all the other kids getting their haircut. We had the stylist trim up his hair, however we didn't take it too short. He still has a few of his curls in the back and a bit of that baby look. I made sure to save a few pieces of hair for his baby book!

Go BUCKS!!!
Since Eric & I are trying to be good, responsible parents and raise our children up to be the best that they can be....we are dedicated to helping Graham pick the best team as his favorite...The Ohio State Buckeyes!! He has enjoyed this past football season, seeing many of the games. He loves to dress up in his Buckeye outfit (Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Lowery!) and match his Mommy & Daddy during game day! He's even clapped for good plays and gets excited when they score a touchdown!

Bundled Up
Graham is all ready for winter! Good thing since the weather has just changed and gotten pretty cold. Yesterday, December 1st, we woke to find flurries flying in the sky. That continued most of the day and we had a light dusting. What a perfect way to welcome in the month of December! Graham has a nice big puffy coat, mittens (not sure how you're supposed to get his thumb in correctly, but they cover his hands!) and a hat! He even has some snow pants in case he wants to play in the snow (gotta love garage sales!!). Here's a couple pictures of one of the first times he got all bundled up to go outdoors.

Curly
Graham has pretty curly hair. We normally brush his hair after his bath which straightens a lot of the curls, except for the ones in the back. However if we let him go with his hair all curly here is what he looks like. After sleeping on it, it's back to 'normal'...which is straight on top and curly behind. We're not sure if the curls will stick around or if after a few hair cuts they'll go away, but they sure are cute right now!

Awkward Sleep
One day last week, Graham had gone down for his nap, however I needed to get him up early as we needed to be somewhere. I went in to get him and this is how I found him asleep. I guess he was so wrapped up in his playing that he never laid down when he got tired and just fell asleep sitting up! I snapped a couple of pictures to show Eric later, here they are:

Sleepy Boy
Here are a couple of recent pictures of Graham fallen asleep after busy days. The first one is after coming home from church. Being in the nursery for about 3 hours on a Sunday morning wears him out. He usually falls asleep on the ride home (less than 5 minutes). Usually we wake him up, feed him lunch and then he goes down for his nap. The other pictures were from a day where Graham decided a second nap wasn't something he wanted to take. However, we had some errands to run later and he fell asleep during the ride. He then transferred to the living room floor where he slept for an additional 40 minutes or so!

Farming
One of Graham's birthday presents was this Little People Barn from his Grandpa Armstrong. This toy has proved to be a great present as Graham plays with it nonstop throughout the day. He loves all the animal sounds that it makes as well as putting the animals and any other small toys that he has into the barn. It's one of the first toys he races to in the morning and the last one he touches in the evening! Thanks Grandpa Armstrong for such a fun present!

Pillow Piles
Graham has discovered a new toy, our pillows. He loves to pull them down off of the couch and then use them to fall into. He also loves it when I make a big pile for him to climb and roll around on. You have to watch him pretty carefully though, as he gets so used to throwing his body onto a pillow that sometimes he gets a little careless and throws himself unto our hard wood floors....ouch! Here are a couple of picture of Graham and his cat, Stuffed Sam, playing in the pillows!

Clean Teeth!
Right around the same time that Graham turned 1, we started having him brush his teeth every night. We thought that he was not going to like this experience at all, however we were very wrong! He loves to brush his teeth! So much so that if he sees his toothbrush earlier in the day he wants to brush them then as well. Here's a few pictures of one afternoon when Eric went to brush his teeth and Graham needed to do so as well.

Surprise!!!
We're pregnant!!! :) We are currently expecting baby number 2, due May 21, 2011! We are thrilled and cannot wait to meet our new little bundle of joy.

I found out on Sept. 9 that I was pregnant. I wanted to surprise Eric when he came home from work...so Graham & I planned out a fun way to tell him. We went and bought a Big Brother t-shirt for Graham to wear and a package of pink balloons and one of blue balloons. During the day, at a couple different times as not to get too winded, I blew up all 24 balloons. We were all ready for our surprise...we just had to wait for Eric to get home! Thankfully he called on his way home from work so we could get all ready. I pulled all the balloons out into the living room and dressed Graham into his shirt. When Eric arrived home Graham was playing with all the balloons. Needless to say, Eric didn't have a clue what I was trying to tell him!! He was rather confused. I finally asked if he saw the shirt Graham was wearing...he said that he did, however he didn't recognize it! I had to tell him to go read it!!! :) Then he figured it out! He told me later that he was trying to think of what was going on....and thought that maybe I had been cleaning and found the balloons and decided to blow them up for Graham to play with...yes, 24 of them! :) Here are a few pictures of the surprise:
Graham ready to surprise Daddy!
Sammy not so sure what is going on.
The pack-n-play...our storage place for the balloons. Made for some fun playtime for Graham!
