Playtime Pics

Just a few pictures of us playing together one morning the past week. Graham is enjoying his activity table...while someone observes from the tv stand.

Graham has realized that he's able to reach up and touch Sam if he's lying down...and he thinks he's big stuff!!

Graham always puts things in his mouth. Here he was playing with his soccer ball, but got sidetracked by his favorite book. The ball went into his mouth so he would have both hands free to read with. He'll also do this when crawling around the house, ball in mouth & hands free to crawl!

Tunnels

While staying at my parents, Uncle Greg thought it would be fun to bring over a tunnel that his kids have. Graham really seemed to enjoy it so they left it at their house for the duration of our stay. Graham liked to crawl through the tunnel thinking he was pretty big stuff. His cousins & my friend, Laura's, children all seemed to love it as well!

Here's a good shot of the full tunnel. Graham was playing with his friend's Hannah & Emma (maybe future wife??...no pressure kids!!).

Family Fun

We've spent a lot of time with my (Willa) family lately. Some of that was planned, and some was unexpected. However, we really enjoyed all of the time we had!! Here are a few pictures taken while we were at my parents house. The kids are all growing up so fast, so each time we see them they seem to be doing something new!

I absolutely love this picture of Porter. He is such a good boy. He is now about 16 months old. He is talking more and is such a sweetie! He runs around and was helping teach Graham how to walk! Those two are going to have a lot of fun together in the years to come!

Suzanne is now just 3 months shy of her 3rd birthday. She's becoming more and more of a 'big girl' than a toddler. She loves her Aunt Willa and baby Graham! She can't get enough of either of us when she's around. We enjoy being with her too! :)

Grandpa holding Graham after one of his naps. Whenever Grandpa heard the slightest sound coming from the room where Graham was sleeping, Grandpa was there to get him up to play! Graham got a little spoiled, but had a blast!

Here's the one picture that I was able to snap of Grandma! She somehow manages to get out of the pictures. She loved having Graham around as well. She worked hard to try to convince me & him to stay an extra day! We wish we could have, but we needed to come back home!

Greg & Eric watching one of my least favorite shows...Man vs. Wild!! I actually don't really mind the show (hopefully Eric won't read this!), BUT...it seems that every time I walk in the room while he's watching it, the guy will be eating bugs, brains or other even less appetizing things!! Not what I really want to see!

High Chair = Fun?!?

Grandma & Grandpa have the restaurant style high chair at their house. Graham really liked it as he thought it was a great place to play! He loved to crawl in and out of the bottom of it. He also thought it was pretty fun to use as a walker. I was surprised that he was able to push it across the floor, but he was! Here are a few cute pictures of him playing underneath of the high chair!

Vroom Vroom...

....off Graham goes on his car! :) Graham hasn't quite figured out how to make his car move forward on his own, but he loves when his Mommy or Daddy push him around. He also is content to just sit on his ride and play with the gadgets.

Graham has had a few new developments recently:

*He can now say "uh-oh'. Sometimes he gets stuck on one of the words and will say 'uh-uh-uh-uh-oh'! It's very precious! A lot of times he will repeat after me when I say it.

*Graham can now wave. Although do not expect him to wave upon demand, he will only do this when he feels like it!

*Graham is developing quite the appetite. We're feeding him more and more table foods. However, the other day when I was using some of the food given to us by my brother & sister-n-law (THANKYOU!!), he ate a 6 oz dinner followed by 6 oz of fruit followed by some cheerios!! Wow...talk about eating us out of house & home! He's still nursing 4 times a day and eating three meals. We're contemplating adding a snack in there sometime soon as he seems to want to eat more, we'll see!

*Naps have become much more consistent. When we're at home he sleeps from approx. 8:30 - 10am and then from 1 - 2:30pm. Bedtime is still between 6:30 & 7pm. He's constantly on the go rarely stopping for a second during the day!

*Graham just cut his 7th, yes...that's 7...tooth this past week. He now has three on top and three on bottom. He handled it like an old pro, which with 7 teeth he is quite the teething little fellow. He was a little more fussy than normal and had an early (4am) wake time where he was up crying and wouldn't go back to sleep. However this lasted one day, and I just assumed it was because his schedule had been thrown off while staying at Grandma & Grandpa's for quite some time. However, I now think it was due to some sore gums!

Bubble Bath

Graham experienced his first real bubble bath a few weeks ago. He thought the bubbles were hilarious, and loved to play in them. He really wanted to eat them, so we had to keep a close eye on them!

Sorry for the long absence from posting. We had a trip planned to my parents house and then when we returned home found that our AC was out. Graham & I returned back to Grandma & Grandpa's house for an extra week...which they really enjoyed. We're now home and getting back into our normal routine! The AC should be replaced today...and we cannot wait. Although, God gave us the perfect day for no AC, it's only supposed to get to 86 with low humidity! Couldn't ask for a better day since it's been in the mid 90's the past week!

First Library Book

A couple of weeks ago while at the library we decided to check out the children's section. We were pleasantly surprised by the selection of books we found. We also were pleased to find a small section of board books. There was a rocking chair and a few wooden toys there as well. We sat and read a few books while there and then picked out a couple to bring home. Here Graham is reading one of his first library books! Over the years to come we're going to get lots of use out of the library!!

Camera

Graham loves the camera these days. Whenever we pull it out to take some pictures he is distracted from what he had been doing and wants to come get the camera. Here's a short video showing just that! Notice the crawling & pulling himself up as well! What a big boy!
