First Birthday Party!!!

The weekend before Graham's birthday we traveled to Willa's parents to celebrate Graham's birthday. We had a small party on Sunday, where Graham's Aunt, Uncle, cousins & Great-Grandma all came over to his Grandparents house to celebrate. Graham had cupcakes that were decorated like lions...he had his own individual mini-cake. We also had some vanilla ice cream to go with the chocolate cake! What an experience for Graham. He wasn't so sure about all the attention and I thought he might even start to cry while everyone was singing to him. However, after everyone else joined in eating he started to get a little more confident in eating his cake. He didn't get too messy...to his parent's surprise!

These pictures are from a disposable camera, so the quality isn't as great...and I don't know how we used to survive without a digital camera that you can see the picture immediately after taking! :)

In this picture everyone was singing to Graham. He's giving me a very scared look...he wasn't sure what was going on and he really didn't want to be in the center of attention.

What a Ham!!

Last week Graham had his 1-year check-up. His doctor checked him all over and said he was looking great! He's reaching all of his milestones just like he should and is growing like a weed. His current stats are:

Weight: 22 lbs 12 oz (60th percentile on REGULAR growth charts!!!)
Height: 30.5 inches (75th percentile)

They said to keep doing what we're doing!

As you can see Graham is a happy little boy. He loves to play and smiles a LOT! He always seems to give us the biggest cheesy smiles when we bring out the camera!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Graham!! This past week we celebrated Graham's first birthday. It's hard to believe that he's already a year old...although in other ways it seems as if he's been with us much longer than just a year! Graham at a year old is full of energy. He loves to explore new things. He's crawling like a pro...still on his hands and feet, not knees! He's beginning to stand up more and more and has made it to 5 steps at one time. He's getting much sturdier and it's a lot of fun to see him develop each and everyday. He loves to play with trucks, tractors and anything else with wheels. He received a Little People Farmyard for his birthday and he plays with that a LOT throughout the day. He keeps us busy and makes us smile and laugh often! Happy Birthday Baby! :)

The Great Outdoors

We've been playing outdoors a lot lately with the nice cooler dry weather. Graham loves to crawl around, play with the leaves and the dirt and watch any movement nearby. Here's a snapshot of him playing with some leaves.
