Best Buddies

I allow Graham to watch Curious George on PBS from time to time. This day he was watching an episode while sitting next to Sammy! Normally he would've attacked the cat, but since he was interested in the show he sat next to him for the majority of the time without scaring him off! He would reach over and pet him from time to time which was pretty cute. Sam has been such a good sport with Graham, although he doesn't get nearly as much rest as he used to!

Swing Set

We recently began talking about getting a swingset. We knew it was a bit early for one since Graham is so young, however it was something we'd love to have in the backyard for the kids to play on in the years to come. However, we didn't want to pay full retail price on one either. Someone mentioned that I should check Craigslist. The first day I looked...I found one!! I didn't hear back from the seller for a couple of days, but when I did I immediately set up a time to come see it. So, that night we went, looked and purchased it. It was a sweet deal...and one that will get so much use!

Pregnancy Shots

Here's a couple pregnancy shots (these are for you, Mom!!!). These were taken last week at 29wks1day. Everything is still going smoothly with the pregnancy. It's hard to believe we're already past 30wks along!! If this baby comes when Graham did it means we only have 6 more weeks to prepare, where did the time go?

On another note, Graham is learning more and more each and every day. The other night we went grocery shopping. Graham saw the moon up in the sky as we were leaving the store and was really excited about it. The next day I asked him what he saw in the sky last night and instantly his face lights up and he loudly says, 'moon!!'. I was pretty surprised that he remembered that from the night before. Goes to show how good their memories are at such a young age.

Recent Cute Moments

A few days ago Graham had been eating his morning snack. Sometimes he asks for more and I always tell him that he needs to say 'please', which he will then say before he gets anymore. This particular day he wanted some more crackers, but it was a later snack. I told him no we were going to wait because it was close to lunchtime. Well...Graham looks up at me with his big brown eyes and for the first time without being prompted said...'PEEASE' (he doesn't use the 'l' sound). Well, needless to say he was given one more cracker just because I couldn't resist and because I was so proud of him for saying please without being told to!!

Yesterday at lunch Graham was done eating. We usually feed him using these older plates that we have, but they are breakable. Well, he started to push the plate off of his tray and I loudly said 'NO!!!'. But, it was too late. The plate fell and broke. I cleaned it up and then went to get Graham out of his chair. I told him he needed to say that he was sorry for breaking the plate. He hasn't said sorry yet, he hasn't really accomplished the 's' sound. However, he could tell I was not very happy with him. So, he made a lip smacking noise (his kissing noise) and leaned forward and kissed me! I guess that was his 'sorry'!! I couldn't be too upset after that!

This morning Graham was going downstairs. I told him that I would be down in a minute and then said..'I love you!' and blew him a kiss. He smiled, looked back up at me and blew a kiss right back to me! Then he proceeded downstairs to play until I could join him!

Snacktime

Snacktime is a favorite time of day not just for Graham, but also for Sam! Graham lately has had an increase in his appetite. We struggle at some meals (mainly dinner) to get him to eat well, however in the morning and mid afternoon he is usually starving. He eats a great breakfast & lunch, but can still pack down the snacks! A few of his favorites are goldfish, cheese crackers, graham crackers, apple slices, grapes and cheese cubes. I'm always looking for new nutritious snack ideas...so, if you have any suggestions, please leave a comment!

On this particular day he was partaking in a snack of goldfish. Sam was trying to help him eat his snacks, although Graham is usually pretty good about pushing him away if he gets too close!
