18 Month Check-up

Graham had his 18 month check-up last week. The appointment went well and he is growing like a weed! His current stats are as follows:

Height: 33 1/4 inches
Weight: 27 lbs 15 oz

Both are in the 75th percentile. The Dr was very pleased with all of his development and that he was reaching every milestone that he should be. Next appt is not until he turns 2! He's becoming such a big boy!!!

Silly Boy

Recently whenever I get the camera out this is the silly face that Graham gives me. So much for a good picture...but, it still is pretty cute! He then instantly wants to see the picture I just took. What did we do before digital cameras? :)

Fridge Magnets

We recently purchased some nice fridge magnets at a garage sale. They're the nice thick, double magnet good quality ones. They are perfect for a child who loves to put them in his mouth as the smaller ones would completely fit in the mouth! :) So, these are safer! Graham in these pictures was testing them out on the fridge. We eventually put up the letters and just left out the numbers. He loves to play with them...and plays with them a lot! I find them in many different places, the towel drawer, his potty in the bathroom, in his toy barn, under the couch...pretty much anywhere he likes to 'hide' his toys! They were a great $1 investment as he is also learning his numbers very well. If you ask him to go get the 9, he will usually go and get the right number (well...it's either the 9 or the 6, but you can't tell them apart). And, yes in the pictures he is working on putting them down the front of his overalls. He ended up with about 15 in there! :)

Graham is also 18 months old today! Hard to believe how big he's getting. He's growing so fast. He absolutely loves to be outside and playing with sticks, stones and balls. He runs around like a wild little guy! He is playing more independently as well, and I'm seeing more and more creative play. He still builds with his blocks almost daily, plays with his barn and trucks. He reads books a LOT! We get books from the library almost every week to add to our selection. He currently really likes the Spot books & anything Curious George. He likes books about trucks, numbers and animals. He's saying more and more words, repeating a lot when asked. He has a couple two word phrases that he will say...and loves to wave bye bye. He blows kisses to me every night as Daddy walks to put him to bed. He's getting to be such a big boy!

34 Week Ultrasound

We had another Dr's appt this week with an ultrasound. These pictures might be a little hard to see, however they turned out really good. Baby Armstrong is growing well, weighing in at 5lbs 2oz, which is in the 53rd percentile. Everything looked great! We have about two and half more weeks and then the Dr is fine with delivery at anytime! Hard to believe we're nearing the end of this pregnancy!
