Shower??
We have this spray bottle in our living room which we use on the cat whenever he picks at the couch. Graham was really intrigued by it one day so I allowed him to have it. I sprayed him with it to start and then he wanted me to keep doing it. I needed to tend to Ellie, so I showed him how it sprayed. It took him a minute to figure it out, but then he realized that he too could make the spray bottle work. He continued to spray the water, which would splash him in the face. He thought it was great! We've since taken the water bottle with us on walks to help keep him entertained when he starts to get fidgety and it works like a charm!

Grandparents Visit
We were blessed to have my parents (Willa) come down to stay for several days in the beginning of June. It was such a help to have them here. They entertained & played with Graham, spent time cuddling with Ellie, helped prepare meals, took us out for dinner, enjoyed a girls shopping trip, watched the kids on three separate occasions so we could get out as a couple for a short "date" (we only had 1 to 1 1/2 hr that we could get away due to nursing), and also allowed me to get my naps in! Graham had a lot of fun and definitely missed them when they left. Ellie also missed all the extra amount of time she was held while they were here!
Here are a few pictures of them with the kiddos.
Reading books before bedtime.

Enjoying their newest grandchild.

Boys Will Be Boys...
This video is a little old, however I wanted to share it. This spring we had a TON of rain. It seemed like it would never stop raining, which was hard with a little boy that loved being outside. Finally when the sun appeared we'd get outside to play a little bit. We tried to stay on the driveway so that he wouldn't get too dirty since the yard was so wet. This particular day his Daddy was watching him and let him go back into the swampy yard. He got stuck in the mud, lost a shoe and then plopped down getting completely dirty! He had fun though!! :)

Polar Bears
Graham has two polar bears that he is extremely attached to. He sleeps with both of them every naptime & at night. He brings them out to the living room every morning and plays with them off and on throughout the day. If he forgot to grab them out of his crib in the morning, it isn't long before he heads back to his bedroom to retrieve them! He is very attached to them! However, he likes to share his things...at least so far. He might not be so eager to do so when his sister can actually play with them on her own. This particular morning he was lining the bears up next to her for her viewing pleasure. He also had to put the bears on her several times...saying 'growl, growl', while doing so!

One Month Old!
It's so hard to believe, but Ellie is already a month old!! There have been some long days in there and some days I feel like we're barely surviving, but all in all it's been good...and has flown by! She's doing great. She's growing like a weed and sleeping fairly well. All in all we're adjusting quite well to life as a family of 4! Graham loves his little sister and has done really well with her. We see only minor jealousy...much better than we expected with him now having to share his Mom!
Today was Ellie's 1-month check-up. She had a great appointment and is doing everything she should be. Her jaundice is cleared up, her gunky eye is pretty much better and she's gaining/growing like she should be. Here are her one month stats:
Weight: 8lbs 12oz (35th percentile)
Height: 22 1/4 inches (80th percentile....the Dr thought the nurse must have measured this wrong and remeasured herself...got the same result. She grew 2 inches in 2 weeks!!!)
I finally uploaded some more recent pictures. You'll definitely be able to tell she's grown in these!!
